Holiday Gift Guide 2020 - gifts for the homebody

Hey y’all! This is my yearly Homebody Gift Guide, and I LOVE putting this out every year. Whether you’re looking for a gift for your homebody spouse or a friend, or you yourself are a homebody looking to treat-yo-self, these are some great Christmas list ideas for the homebody in your life.

Christmas List Ideas for the Homebody

  1. Blundstone Boots

After years of pining after these boots, I finally pulled the trigger on a pair this Fall, and I could not love them more. My sisters, brothers-in-law, and husband have all raved about Blundstones, and I kept making excuses not to spend the $200 on a pair, but it turns out now that I have some, I completely understand the hype! They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I love that this pair has a little heel—making them feel a bit more feminine for me. I could walk all day in these! And now I also want a pair of flat hiking style blundstones, too.

  2. Moccamaster Coffee Maker

Just like the Blundstones, I have had my eye on a Moccamaster for years. We are admittedly coffee snobs, and after we ditched our Keurig, we have been making every cup of coffee with an Aeropress for YEARS. I still love the Aeropress and love having it on hand, but we needed a way to make more than one cup at a time without sacrificing taste and quality. Enter: the Technivorm Moccamaster. Made in the Netherlands, this is a QUALITY piece of coffee making equipment from a trusted brand. It brews a wonderful cup and it looks pretty doing it.

We went with the Moccamaster KB model with the glass carafe and the manual drip stop. Feel free to reach out if you want to know why we chose that model, but we love it 🙂

  3. Freewaters House Shoes

I have started trying to shop more ethically for my clothes and household items—buying from companies that I trust and that are doing good for the world. Freewaters is one of those companies. I asked for these House Shoes for Christmas and I LOVE them. They are so supportive and sturdy. I can easily wear them outside to play in the yard with Judah and they are comfortable enough to wear around the house all day.

  4. Stars Above Joggers
2020 has made me want to update my loungewear wardrobe. All this time at home has me wearing holes in my comfies. Admittedly, I don’t actually have a pair of these yet. But I have seen them at Target and I just wanted to stand in the aisle and hug them because they are so soft. I’m hoping Santa drops a few pairs of these by this year.

  5. Always Pan

If you’re like me, you may be seeing this pan advertised on social media left and right. And every review I read leads me to believe that it is actually as beautiful and functional as it’s advertised to be! I was visiting a client’s house and spied this beautiful pan sitting on her stovetop, and she confirmed that it is in fact just as great as I hoped. Needless to say, this is on my Christmas list this year, too 🙂 It is meant to take the place of 8 pieces of cookware. We love to cook and try new dishes, and I know we will be pulling this out often.

  6. Travel Home

The last three items on my list are books. Because what homebody doesn’t like books? And there’s little I like more when I want to wind down and relax than a beautiful design book full of pictures. Travel Home is a beautiful tribute to homes inspired by travel. And 2020 has me dreaming of travel, that’s for sure.

  7. Defined Dish Cookbook & 8. Half Baked Harvest Cookbook

These cookbooks have been on my list for a while. I love trying new recipes, and while I often use Pinterest to find them, I always prefer physically having the cookbook on my shelf for those recipes I will pull out over and over again!
