We are excited to bring you photos from one of our favorite client projects yet. We started working on this remodel with some amazing clients in June of 2018…almost a year and a half ago! And, oh, the stories this house could tell. In the time it took to completely remodel this home, there was a baby born (mine), a son adopted (theirs), and a medical journey of struggle and joy. The story isn’t mine to tell, so I’ll leave it at that, but suffice it to say that when I see the images from this project, I see more than just a beautiful house. I see the faithfulness of God. And I see the personality and journey of each member of this family in the bones and on the walls of this home.
I’ll do my best to take you on the journey of this house from before to after and then you can enjoy LOTS of pretty after photos.
The original style the clients wanted for this project was “modern farmhouse.” They like the contrast of crisp whites against black and dark wood. I think we accomplished that, but I think we also accomplished so much more. These spaces are an eclectic mix of clean lined modern farmhouse, antique and vintage charm, and traditional touches.
The bones of this house were good, and full of character and quirk. We wanted to make sense of the quirks without taking away from the charm of the home.
The contractor for this project was Glenn Grayson Homes. They did fantastic work!

Franklin, TN Remodel Reveal
This house had so much quirk, character, and charm already. But it needed a little bit of TLC to update it and make it fit its new owners.
