For larger projects, we may go through these phases multiple times in order to break things down into bite-sized chunks. It's our goal to keep things organized and manageable for you!

Good design is made up of a thousand little decisions, and a good design process covers them all. It's big-picture vision and tiny little choices. Every piece of the puzzle matters. Our process is designed to make the experience easy for you as we handle the "heavy lifting."

Design Concepts

The goal

This phase of the project exists to confirm the project scope, basic layouts, investment estimate, and aesthetic direction. This phase gets everyone on the same page from a 30,000 ft. view.

The Meeting

At this meeting, we present floor plans, sketches, inspiration boards, investment guides, and initial selections - everything that is needed to help you picture the overall direction of the design.

Design Details

The Goal

This phase of the project exists to take the project from conceptual ideas to all details confirmed, materials and furnishings selected, and orders ready to be placed.

The Meeting

At this meeting, we present final floor plans and elevations, all selections, fabrics, finishes, furnishings, and proposals - everything you need to perfectly envision the transformation ahead.

Procurement & Execution

The Goal

This phase of the project exists to start the physical work of the project. With the detailed plan complete, your contractor/builder can begin working with a solid foundation, and we are around to help come up with solutions for any issues that arise (and in home projects....they always arise!)

We are also working behind to order all furnishings and materials, track shipments, and make sure that all the pieces of the puzzle are ready to be put into place at the appropriate time. We are sending regular project updates and keeping everyone in the loop and on the same page at all times.

Final Details

The Goal

The most exciting phase of all - Final Details! Just as it sounds, we are working with you and the build team to shore up any loose ends, managing your furniture installation with our white-glove delivery service, accessorizing and styling, and making your house feel like home. This is where all the waiting finally pays off and you get to experience the joy of living in a space designed with creativity and intentionality!
