Upstairs in the Scarsdale Colonial, there are several bedrooms and bathrooms; however, we focused on the primary suite and boys’ bedroom.
The primary suite was a blank slate, and they wanted to create a cozy retreat with a hint of color. Our clients specifically requested a dark wood bed frame, and we love the detail of the wood pattern in this one. We paired it with light accent furniture.
One of the homeowners is from England, and they have spent a lot of their time there as a couple, so, of course, a cup of tea is a daily essential. We created a tea station with a hidden mini refrigerator so that tea in bed on a cozy Saturday morning can be a regular event in their home.
The boys’ bedroom needed a simple refresh with a neutral green paint color, a teepee for all of the imaginative play, and stylish twin beds.
