I love getting to work with clients and to see their dreams come to life. Sometimes those clients become more than just clients…they become friends! This is one of those clients and one of those projects. It’s so fun to see the final result! Brittany and Jamie were so much fun to work with.
They bought a cute little bungalow with a lot of character, but that character was definitely hidden beneath a lot of…well…old things. So they worked hard for months to remodel the ENTIRE place, and we were able to be part of the heart of the home: the kitchen!
Last summer, we started with a trip for the whole family to see the kitchen and take measurements. And I just couldn’t resist including the cutest picture of Judah on the job site.
And now for the before of the kitchen…
And…drumroll please…the big reveal!
We used Semihandmade/IKEA cabinets in this kitchen, and I love the way the Tahoe color looks on the island! The perimeter is Supermatte White.
The backsplash has such a subtle texture with the handcrafted subway tile, and I love the dimension it adds to the space!
The full height cabinets work as a great pantry space and provide a lot of creative storage options. And I just love the open shelving!
Thanks for letting us be part of your beautiful kitchen remodel!
