Life has been busy since we officially launched Peach & Pine Home a little over a month ago, and I can’t wait to share some more blog posts on the happenings around here! In the mean time, I thought I would give a little recap of the highlights of late.

1. You guys were amazing!

We worked for months to plan and launch Peach & Pine Home. After Jeremy started getting requests from friends to build things and I was getting requests to decorate, we decided to make it official and launch a business. Then we spent months making a website, coming up with a name, and dreaming of what it could become. Then we shared it with you all, and you responded with such kindness. Thank you for supporting us and being excited…and thank you for the people who have already hired us to help you with something!

2. We joined the social interwebs.

If you haven’t already, be sure to follow us at @peachandpinehome on Instagram and Facebook where we will be posting updates of day-to-day life happenings and design projects!

3.. Jeremy built some custom furniture pieces.

In the past couple of months, Jeremy has installed a couple of custom banquettes and built a handful of other custom furniture pieces.

3. We furnished and decorated an entire home in about 3 weeks.

The biggest project of late just wrapped up this past weekend. Some friends of ours purchased a house in West Nashville that they are going to use for short term rentals on Airbnb, and we helped them to furnish the place from top to bottom. We were on a short deadline, and it was a team effort as we worked to fill empty rooms and make it a cozy and inviting place for Nashville visitors. I can’t wait to show more details of this adorable place!

4. Jeremy visited the land of America’s favorite design couple.

Every time someone says we remind them of Chip & Jo, I blush and giggle. Because I can’t help it…they’re just really awesome. As I sat at my desk in my cubicle, Jeremy went to the Silos. I’m only a little bit bitter.

5. We enjoyed the summertime life!

Summertime in Nashville is a blast, and we have been soaking in the warm weather and time with friends and family in town. One of our favorite ways to spend a summer Saturday is to shop til we drop at an antique store or the flea market and then take a stroll through one of the beautiful historic neighborhoods in Nashville. Then we’ll finish it off with a cup of iced coffee, a Five Daughters bakery donut, or some Jeni’s Ice Cream.

We will be sharing more to come about the renovation and decor projects of late. I also have a running list of things we need to do to update our own home soon!

Stay tuned!
